Connections count!
Resilience is stronger when we work together. By staying connected with your neighbors and your community, you help share ideas, spread important information, and build support for solutions that protect our coast and our way of life. Connection keeps us informed, prepared, and united in facing challenges together.
Two Meetings, Two Locations
To make it easier for everyone to attend, we’re holding back-to-back community meetings — one in South Thomaston and one in St. George. You’re welcome at either meeting (or both!) regardless of where you live. The goal is simple: more options, more access, and more voices shaping our resilience plan.

Two Towns.
One Community.
Working Together.
St. George and South Thomaston are unique in their decision to face coastal challenges together. Both towns know the realities of rising seas, powerful storms, and the demands of sustaining working waterfronts. By forming a collaborative resilience committee, they are taking an innovative step: planning not just as neighbors, but as partners.
This joint effort recognizes that weather, water, and livelihoods don’t stop at town lines. Through shared knowledge, combined resources, and a united voice, the two communities are creating a stronger, more comprehensive plan than either could achieve alone. Their collaboration is a model of coastal innovation — proving that when towns work together, they build not only resilience, but lasting connections for the future.
